Kent Homeless Connect – specialist services across the country
People with overlapping support needs such as housing insecurity, mental ill health, experiences of trauma or substance dependency can find it difficult to access the help that is right for them. Kent Homeless Connect is available throughout Kent. It is a specialist service which works to prevent people from losing their homes. If people have already become homeless, we help them to access and maintain accommodation.
We tailor support to each individual, depending on their needs and situation and take a holistic approach. This means we work in partnership with each person, giving them the tools to become healthy, find a stable home or manage their tenancy or their finances so that they can move away from homelessness for good.
Whether we first connect with someone who is facing the possibility of losing their home, or when they are sleeping rough, we offer personalised support and we are there for them throughout their entire recovery journey.
Who we support
The service is available to vulnerable adults living in Kent, aged 18 and over, with multiple support needs (such as mental ill health or substance misuse problems) who are:
- rough sleeping – sleeping outdoors or in makeshift structures
- homeless – living in temporary housing or sofa surfing
- at risk of becoming homeless – at risk of eviction
- impacted by homelessness.
We are also here to offer advice and information for professionals with a responsibility for social care and housing support, to work in partnership them so they are able to direct the people they support to the right services the first time around.

If you are homeless – or worried you might lose your home – Kent Homeless Connect can help you find the support you need.
