Kent Homeless Connect
Kent Homeless Connect helps people with complex needs who are at risk of losing their home, or who are already homeless. Our specialist service, which is available throughout Kent, works to prevent people from losing their homes and if people have already become homeless, we help them to access and maintain accommodation.
We tailor support to each individual, depending on their needs and situation and take a holistic approach. We work in partnership with people, giving them the tools to become healthy, find a stable home or manage their tenancy or their finances so that they can move away from homelessness for good.
Whether we first connect with someone who is facing the possibility of losing their home, or when they are sleeping rough, we will offer personalised support and we will be there for them throughout their entire recovery journey.
The service is available to adults living in Kent, aged 18 and over, with complex needs including mental ill health, substance misuse problems, or learning disabilities, who are:
- rough sleeping
- at risk of becoming homeless
- impacted by homelessness.
We help people move away from homelessness for good by offering a mixture of outreach work, supported accommodation and floating support, tailored to the individual that:
- enables them to be healthy
- find a stable home
- manage their tenancy or their finances.
